BeFranquicia, featured in Restauración News magazine

Mexican Entertainment News

BeFranquicia  appears in the March issue of Restauración News. This specialized magazine publishes an article by Carlos Blanco de Córdova, “The hospitality franchise in 2017.” The Managing Partner of the franchise consultancy talks in the article about the situation and the challenges of brands dedicated to the hospitality sector.

In issue 212 of the specialist magazine  Restauración News , published this March, we can read an interesting double-page opinion article by  Carlos Blanco de Córdova, Founder and Managing Partner of BeFranquicia . In these lines he analyses the trends that will predominate throughout 2017 in the field of  hotel and restaurant franchises .

This is a sector with more than 8,500 establishments and employs more than 57,000 people. What’s more, its annual turnover reaches the not inconsiderable figure of  5.5 billion euros , making this type of franchise one of the main drivers of the Spanish economy.

“Based on this, 2017 is set to have the best growth prospects for this sector, which has suffered greatly from the crisis and is already showing clear signs of recovery. At BeFranquicia we are optimistic about the short and medium-term future of the hotel and restaurant market, given that in the midst of the recession  it has managed to go on a diet only to now gain weight again ,” explains Carlos Blanco.

In this article published by Restauración News, the Managing Partner of BeFranquicia also talks about the trends that will mark the future of the hospitality sector in the coming months. Trends  that  most franchises have already begun to implement, largely related to technology. Apps, mobile payment systems, delivery and take away services, thematic and specialized concepts such as street food or the success of gastro bars and establishments that offer consumers homemade and artisan products.

The hotel and restaurant sector is, without a doubt, one of the  most important and prominent  sectors within the Spanish franchise system. And, without a doubt, its success will be confirmed throughout this year.
